Pumpkin Patch is a family-owned company that operates six nurseries in the South Coast. Our purpose is to ensure children have the best start in life through outstanding education and care. This role requires a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education or equivalent, experience working within a Nursery or School setting, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, people first approach and a genuine passion for giving children the best possible start in life.

The Role of a Senior Educator
- To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
- To be aware of Pumpkin Patch’s policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered to.
- Use their knowledge of the areas of learning and understanding of how children learn to provide rich, varied and imaginative experiences that enthuse, engage and motivate children.
- To be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately – in accordance with child protection and whistleblowing policies.
- To be responsible for the welfare of all children in your room, organising systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Establish strong relationships with families to foster a positive connection between the nursery and home.
- Adhere to the organisation's policies and procedures.

- Job Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (between 7.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday)
- Salary: £27,352 - £28,080 (FTE) depending on qualifications and experience.

- Experience in a Baby Room (required for Baby Room in Brighton)
