Position: Relief Chefs (Various Levels)

Location: Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire (including Stafford, Congleton, Leek, Crewe, Newcastle under Lym)

Rate: £17‑£20 per hour

About the role: Are you a dab hand in the kitchen, cool under pressure, and tired of the same four walls every day? We’re on the hunt for passionate, reliable Relief Chefs to jump into several kitchens across Telford, Stafford & Staffordshire. We work with buzzing hotel banqueting suites to private events and everything in between, needing reliable chefs to step in and keep things running smoothly. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly how we like it.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong culinary background – from Chef de partie to Head Chef
• Proven experience in hotel kitchens, banqueting, or large‑scale catering
• Ability to step into different kitchens and hit the ground running
• High standards of hygiene, presentation, and professionalism
• Punctual, dependable, and calm under pressure
• Flexible to work day, night shifts as needed
• Ability to cover ad‑hoc same‑day booking requests
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure

Requirements

• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
• Allergy Awareness training (preferred)
• Own uniform and chef knives
• Reliable transport (preferred but not essential)
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (if needed we can provide)
