  • Possess knowledge of import processes, regulations, and multimodal freight operations.
  • Proficiency in Import/Export Software, Duty Mgmt & ERP systems.
  • Preparing and submitting customs declarations and other required documentation
  • Interaction with freight forwarders.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to effectively address claims and compliance matters within transportation, logistics.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all customs transactions.
  • Staying up to date on changes in customs regulations and procedures.
  • Analyse import processes and logistics to identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan, manage and align activities performed in their area.
  • Local and external stake holder management within key supply chain depts.
  • Measuring and reporting required data/information.
  • Managing, developing, and supporting their team members and or agency workers
  • Following budgetary guidance set by the business.
  • Ability to supervise a team as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and a customer-service oriented mindset.
  • Maintaining records and documentation related to inbound shipments, such as bills of lading, Customs documentation, and delivery receipts.
  • Analyse import processes and logistics to identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness

  • Supervisory skills managing and developing a team
  • Proficiency in logistics software WMS, Duty Mgmt , ERP , or Sa P or other cloud-based ERP systems.
  • English fluent (written and oral). Able to interact with others in a lively and demanding environment.
  • Team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous relevant experience in an inbound & customs environment or similar role.
  • An understanding of supply chain operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge and confidence of Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams,
  • Advanced Excel
  • VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables & Power-Bi is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Self-motivating with an ability to work on own initiative and autonomy.
