YOUR MISSION

  • Responsible for the development and execution of seasonal global PR strategies and communications plans for PUMA Teamsport, acting as the primary PR liaison for the global team and ensuring alignment with regional and local stakeholders on global priorities and best practices.
  • Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of global Teamsport PR campaigns, including press releases and media toolkits for all launches and key moments, ensuring consistent execution and premium storytelling across all touchpoints.
  • In close collaboration with the Global PR Director, lead PR planning and execution for major International Competitions such as FIFA World Cup, EUROs (men's and women's), AFCON, and other key moments or product launches.
  • Own day-to-day relationships with global football media partners, leading global media network engagement in the football space.
  • Work in close partnership with Product Creation and Sports Marketing to shape product and athlete storytelling, leading PR strategy and activations for PUMA's key global Teamsport athletes to maximize media visibility and reputational impact.
  • Lead the integration of key accounts into PR activation plans and independently manage external PR and creative agencies, ensuring high-quality, on-brand deliverables across all activations.
  • Act as a PUMA PR representative at global press events and activations, supporting the Global PR Director in the planning and execution of launch events and press conferences.
  • Create global cross-functional Media Monitoring and Reports, and support the Global PR Director in planning the PR Calendar for upcoming seasons.

YOUR TALENT

  • 6-8+ years of experience in PR, Communications, or media relations, preferably within the football, sporting goods or lifestyle industry.
  • University degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Sports Management or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to work on a high-performing team in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Extensive experience in developing and leading integrated global PR campaigns and media strategies for major sports properties, clubs, federations, or athletes.
  • Strong understanding of the global Media Football landscape, including top-tier media, journalists, club football culture, athlete PR, fan engagement, and sponsorship ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-profile media relationships and working with top-tier clubs, federations, agencies, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with Product, Creative, Sports Marketing, Social Media, Commercial, and regional communications teams.
  • Strong skills in PR storytelling, media strategy, agency management, budget oversight, and integrated brand communications.
  • In-depth knowledge of sports culture, football trends, and media consumption habits, with a strong passion for Football and Teamsport.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong intercultural competence and stakeholder management capabilities across global markets.
