Responsibilities
- Define and lead APP product strategy for collaborations
- Ensure strong cross-category alignment by working closely with inline teams to deliver cohesive concepts and product stories
- Own and manage calendars for special projects and collaborations, ensuring clear timelines and on-time delivery
- Lead regular meetings with partners, driving active collaboration, discussion, and alignment on product strategy
- Present product strategy, range concepts, and storytelling to partners and key accounts, regions, and horizontal teams
- Lead end-to-end product line management—from line planning through design, development, prototype approvals, to international launch
- Develop collection and go-to-market strategies based on global market insights and competitive analysis
- Oversee product flow and in-store timing to ensure optimal launch execution
- Drive pricing alignment by validating FOBs against target margins and continuously challenging costing to balance quality, margin, and net sales
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Design, Development, and Sourcing to ensure consumer-relevant, high-quality collections
- Partner closely with Business Development to ensure seamless collaboration and strong partner relationships
- Support sell-in readiness
- Prepare and lead partner meetings
- Conduct regular market visits, trade fairs, and supplier engagements to stay ahead of trends and opportunities
- Ensure accurate and timely data management within Product Range Management systems
- Oversee product alignment across multiple workstreams (e.g., SL12, SL18, special projects)
- Apply strong methodological and interpersonal skills to effectively navigate discussions and stakeholder environments
Qualifications
- Graduate studies in Business Administration, Sports Management, or comparable degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience in product management in a related industry
- Relevant leadership experience including the ability to motivate and mentor others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Flexible team player with an open mindset, good organizational skills, and well-structured work
- Good market and retail knowledge in the sporting goods industry
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good analytical skills
- Very good verbal communication skills as well as excellent English knowledge (written and spoken)
