Your Mission
We have significant ambitions for E-commerce growth (Web/App + Marketplace) in the coming years. A key enabler of this growth is a shift towards a global led operating model, under which the Global E-commerce Commercial team will take the lead in driving the Global E-commerce strategy and overseeing the commercial performance of our markets. This Global E-commerce Commercial team will be led by the VP Global E-commerce, supported by Global functional leaders (e.g. performance marketing, content) and Global Hub leaders (Americas, EMEA, APAC) who will drive the definition and support the implementation of our global Ecom strategy and business goals as well as lead all globally relevant growth initiatives.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with senior Global E-commerce Leaders (VP Global E-commerce, Global E-commerce Hub Leaders) to facilitate the definition of global ecommerce commercial strategy and priorities.
- Ensure overall alignment on strategy, priority and projects with all other key functions and business leaders within E-commerce Global Commercial team.
- Collaborate closely with VP and senior Global E-commerce Leaders to identify high value strategic growth projects, develop business cases for investment, and programme manage their development with leadership and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance, Global E-commerce Leaders, and regional teams to monitor and report on commercial performance (including preparation for MBRs).
- Drive annual budget & financial planning process for E-commerce including alignment across global & local (Budget / FC).
- Establish and manage meeting and comms cadence across global and local commercial ecommerce teams.
- Document global commercial guidance/guardrails and monitor market adherence.
- Prepare and present strategy and update decks for senior audiences, including the board.
- Oversee a strategic procurement function to ensure our vendor spending is high impact and high value.
- Oversee a Global Commercial Innovation Lead, responsible for ensuring our innovation investments high impact and high value.
- Coordinate a team of global commercial leads/strategists and project managers (note: these leads/PMs will report directly to Global Hub Leaders, but with dotted line to our Global E-commerce Commercial Excellence who will coordinate and align efforts).
Your Talent
- At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience in a Consulting, Corporate Strategy or similar role, within the sporting goods, fashion or FMCG industry.
- Deep understanding of market trends, opportunities, and challenges within the E-Commerce sector globally.
- Strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Project management experience with a track record of successfully managing and executing strategic initiatives.
