YOUR MISSION

  • Demonstrate excellence in creation and execution of innovative designs following the brand, category and product strategies.
  • Take ownership of the whole design process, from ideation till final production approval.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the seasonal creative direction and support the Director/Teamhead guiding and supervising the team through its implementation.
  • Elaborate and present concepts, sketches and final designs in a compelling, clear, transparent and effective way to the design team as well as our product counterparts and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a holistic approach to the product as well as a consumer centred strategy, following the brand’s perspective.
  • Integrate product, functional and technical developments into design tasks in order to improve business processes and enhance customer/consumer engagement.
  • Challenge the global brand positioning guidelines to ensure consideration of new product and program ideas and appropriate modification when necessary.
  • Collect market intelligence, providing all accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments and utilizing them effectively.
  • Keep track and support the team to deliver projects in line with PUMA development calendar.

YOUR TALENT

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Design, Fashion Design or similar education.
  • 3+ years of experience designing Apparel products for one or more leading footwear/lifestyle/sports brands.
  • Good knowledge of sports performance, fabrics and new industry technology.
  • Very good feeling for colors, fabrics and trends.
  • Excellent CAD skills using Adobe and knowledge of MS Office (especially Powerpoint).
  • 3D software knowledge good to have but not a requirement.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills are a must.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Team player mentality.
