Puma Property Finance are looking for a Team Assistant to join our Administration team in London.

Puma Property Finance facilitates development loans from £10 million to £100 million to finance residential, commercial and specialist sector projects such as hotels, student accommodation and care homes.

With no capital losses to date, we've also been able to attract £1 billion of funding from established institutional investors, to complement the funds raised from our retail investors.

We have provided over £2bn of funding to property developments since inception and continue to grow both our retail and institutional capital sources.

We recently entered into a new strategic partnership with Madison International Realty, a leading institutional real estate private equity firm headquartered in New York, which saw Madison acquire a 24.5% stake in Puma Property Finance Ltd and provide a cornerstone investment into our new discretionary debt fund.

In addition, we have recently formed a joint venture with leading global investment firm KKR to expand UK living sector lending, providing up to £500m in senior development and stabilisation loans to fund best-in-class residential, build-to-rent and student accommodation schemes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing business and provide administrative support to the Puma Property Finance team, formed of circa 25 people, providing varying levels of support, including significant support to the PPF Leadership Team.

The role will also deputise for the CEO’s Executive Assistant as required.

You should be a self-motivated and resourceful team player, with demonstrable communication skills and an ability to work under pressure being fundamental to success in this role.

  • Role Responsibilities
  • Extensive diary management, including scheduling of meetings and arranging travel requirements
  • Be on hand throughout the working day to set up calls and execute last minute diary changes
  • Provide support and general administration including editing and formatting documents and presentations, collating meeting packs, scanning and photocopying for regular monthly and quarterly meetings
  • Acting as a secondary resource and absence cover for the CEO’s EA
  • Coordinating signatures for paperwork including deal and Board paperwork
  • Management of the enquiry inbox
  • Managing food and drink orders for awards and event attendees
  • Conference and roadshow travel bookings including hotel, rail and catering for various team members
  • Organising team social events and supporting with PPF events in conjunction with Events team
  • Arranging gifts for clients and staff members
  • Tracking the team credit card purchases for the Finance team
  • Coordination of personal and business-related errands as required
  • Work with other Team Assistants to ensure effective absence cover

Experience Required

  • Demonstrable administrative experience, gained in a Financial Services environment
  • Proven experience managing complex diaries, sensitive information, and ambiguity with excellent judgement and discretion
  • An anticipatory planner who habitually works 3-4 weeks ahead, blocking time for preparation and ensuring buffers between meetings, spotting possible issues early and implementing solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of M365 including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Reliable, hardworking and organised, with demonstrable ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to handle clients and stakeholders in a professional and confidential manner
