Pulsio is a fast-growing fitness recovery brand, and we’re looking for a commercially minded Shopify Developer to join us on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. We’re looking for someone who can take real ownership of our Shopify store during an important stage of growth, improving site performance, customer experience, conversion and the speed at which we can bring new ideas to life. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move quickly, think commercially, and work closely with our internal design team, marketing team and external agency.
What you’ll be working on:
- Developing pixel-perfect, responsive Shopify pages and components from Figma designs
- Working directly with our internal design team and external agency to bring creative concepts to life
- Shopify theme development using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Improving site speed, performance and front-end quality
- Building and optimising landing pages, product pages and campaign pages
- Supporting CRO tests and conversion-focused improvements
- Implementing and maintaining Shopify apps and integrations
- Supporting tracking and analytics, including GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel
- Using AI tools to improve development speed, productivity, QA and workflow efficiency
- Helping us prepare for product launches, seasonal campaigns and peak trading periods
- Fixing bugs, improving UX and documenting key technical processes
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong Shopify development experience
- Excellent front-end skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Experience translating Figma designs into polished, responsive web experiences
- A good understanding of e-commerce and DTC brands
- Strong working knowledge of AI tools and the ability to demonstrate how they use AI to improve productivity and output quality
- Experience improving conversion, site speed and customer journeys
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership
- Comfortable collaborating with designers, marketers and external partners
- A practical, start-up mindset, someone who can get things done without needing everything over-briefed
This is initially a full-time fixed 6-month contract role subject to extension or becoming permanent at the end of the 6-month term.
