Creator & Community Lead_ТТ

We're looking for a Creator & Community Lead to build an internet-native creator community from the ground up for a fast-growing mobile gaming app. You'll be the first hire dedicated to community, responsible for turning a blank slate into a thriving, self-sustaining home for creators and players. This is a zero-to-one role: there's no existing community to inherit and no playbook to follow, just a fast-moving product and creators who need someone to nurture them. You'll live inside Discord, designing the roles, onboarding funnels, and bots that make it work, while also getting hands‑on with individual creators to help them make better games and grow their following. Beyond day‑to‑day community management, you'll build recurring formats and a flagship event that pulls people in from outside the existing community, and you'll be analytical enough to tie engagement metrics directly to the monetization strategy the company is preparing to launch. This is a builder's role for someone who has done this exact kind of from‑scratch community building before and wants to do it again inside gaming.

About the project:

The company is building a mobile app that blends a TikTok-style short‑form feed with AI-generated browser games created by its own users. It's an early-stage, fast-growing product with its core team based in London, and this role exists because the company is about to shift from simply having users to building a real creator ecosystem around them. There's no established community yet — this is a genuine zero-to-one build, from the first cohort of engaged members through to the systems, roles, and rituals that make a creator community self‑sustaining. The product is two‑sided by nature, so whoever takes this on will need to serve both the creators making games and the players consuming them, and understand how the two feed each other. Creator monetization is coming, which means community and engagement metrics will directly inform how that gets designed and rolled out. The team is small and building quickly, so this role carries real ownership from day one rather than slotting into an existing structure.

You have:

• Built a brand or product community entirely from zero, where no demand existed yet, and grown it alongside a small product
• Taken individual creators and made them measurably better or bigger through direct, hands‑on development
• Created and run recurring community formats, including at least one flagship event that pulled people in from outside the existing community
• A real gaming background, either as a player or from working inside the games industry
• Deep knowledge of Discord mechanics — roles, onboarding funnels, bots, permissions, anti‑spam
• Experience balancing a two‑sided product where both creators and consumers need serving
• Ideally, experience as a creator yourself at some point, in games, video, or UGC
• Ideally, experience working directly with a content creator or talent
• Ideally, product literacy from having worked inside an app team
• Willingness to work remotely until October 2026 and relocate to London by then

What to do:

• Build the creator and community function from scratch: acquire the first members, design the systems, and grow it alongside the product
• Own and run the Discord community end-to-end, including roles, onboarding funnels, bots, and permissions
• Work directly and individually with creators to help them improve their games and grow their following
• Design and run recurring community formats and flagship events that draw people in from outside the existing community
• Balance the needs of both creators and players as a two‑sided community
