Rate: £400 - £500 per day

At Pulselive, we are looking for a contract Data Analyst to support a critical Google Analytics audit across the web and mobile platforms of one of our major sporting clients.

This is a short-term but high-impact engagement ideal for someone experienced in analytics implementation audits and optimisation in digital sports environments.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead a comprehensive audit of GA tracking on web and mobile platforms (GA4, Firebase, GTM).
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and misalignments in current tracking implementations.
  • Deliver a clear, detailed audit report outlining current issues and best-practice recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and the client’s stakeholders to translate tracking issues into actionable implementation requirements.
  • Support the implementation of best practices in digital analytics setup and data governance.
  • Provide input on optimising data collection systems to improve reporting, analysis, and digital performance.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience auditing and optimising tracking using GA4, GTM, Firebase, BigQuery, and Data Studio (or similar tools).
  • Strong skills in SQL and Python to run custom queries and analyse large datasets.
  • Experience writing clear technical documentation for developers and analytics requirements for stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently manage and deliver a project.
  • Exposure to digital product environments—understanding the relationship between business needs, product strategy, and user experience.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Adobe Analytics, HotJar, Segment, Tableau, Conviva, or Qualtrics.
  • Google Analytics certifications and knowledge of data layers is a strong plus.
  • An interest in football or sports tech would be a welcome bonus!
