We are seeking a Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join a well-established radiology department in Worthing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled radiographer to contribute to a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality imaging services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient and accurate diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing a range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, including X-rays and general imaging in a hospital setting.
- Working closely with radiologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality images that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintaining a strong focus on patient care, quality assurance, and radiation safety protocols.
- Assisting in maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring compliance with clinical governance and departmental policies.
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
- HCPC registration is essential.
- Previous NHS or private sector experience as a General Radiographer.
- Proficiency in general X-ray and trauma imaging.
- Strong understanding of radiation protection guidelines and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
