We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Band 5 General Radiographer to join our dynamic team in Carmarthen. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional radiographer to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing top-notch diagnostic imaging services. Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of radiographic examinations, ensuring the production of high-quality diagnostic images.
- Interacting closely with patients, providing clear explanations of procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety during the imaging process.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to analyze results and contribute to comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining and operating imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and engaging in continuous professional development.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
- Relevant degree or equivalent in Radiography.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably at Band 5 level.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient care and safety.
- Up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using radiographic imaging equipment and software.
