Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our client’s dynamic inpatient team in Portland, Dorset. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents, considering their personal history and symptoms.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy and medication management.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
- Oversee therapeutic interventions, including crisis management, and monitor and adjust treatment plans.
- Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure safety and well-being.
- Adhere to relevant mental health legislation and engage in continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Full GMC license to practice.
- Section 12 approval.
