We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry to join our esteemed NHS client's team in Hove, Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatrist to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services for adults. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately on a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and psychiatric care to adults with diverse mental health needs, conducting thorough assessments, making diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.
- As a Section 12-approved clinician under the Mental Health Act, oversee care under the CPA and work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Support junior staff, contribute to service development and governance, and engage families and external agencies to ensure holistic, person-centred care.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry (or within 6 months of CCT).

- Experience working in inpatient and/or community mental health settings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical governance.
