About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 7 MRI Radiographer to join our team in Peterborough on a locum basis. This role offers a competitive pay rate of £32.00 per hour and requires availability from Thursday to Sunday. Responsibilities: As a Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring accurate imaging to support clinical diagnosis and treatment planning. You will work closely with patients to provide a safe, comfortable, and efficient scanning experience, maintaining excellent communication throughout the process. The role also involves operating and maintaining MRI equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
- Proven experience in MRI scanning, including advanced techniques
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety and operational protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work Thursday to Sunday shifts
- Previous locum experience (preferred but not essential)
- 1 year experience with NHS or Private
- Siemens MRI
