As aPaediatric Nurse, you will provide expert care to children and young people, ensuring they receive the best possible support across a variety of healthcare settings in West Yorkshire. You will play a vital role in the delivery of care for children with a range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to more complex health needs, whilst offering support to families and ensuring their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to children of all ages, from infants to adolescents
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to each patient
- Support children and their families through treatment, discharge, and recovery
- Administer medications, manage symptoms, and monitor progress
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, healthcare assistants, and other specialists
- Offer emotional support and reassurance to both children and their families during times of stress or illness
- Ensure that safeguarding and health and safety protocols are followed at all times
