We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our NHS client based in London, Middlesex. This is a Community Mental Health (CMHT) role. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start from immediately for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments.
- Evaluating adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms.
- Formulating individualised treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
- Leading a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
- Regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimise care.
- Contributing to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care.
This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- You must have a full GMC license to practice.
- Section 12 Approval.
- Relevant previous experience working in this type of position.
