We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Eating Disorders Psychiatry to join our NHS client based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments, formulate accurate diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
  • Provide consultation and support to primary care providers, community mental health teams, and other stakeholders involved in the care of adults with mental health needs.
  • Participate in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research activities to enhance the delivery of mental health care services for adults.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Section 12 essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of mental health disorders in adults, including depression, anxiety, psychosis, and personality disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and engagement in clinical governance activities.
  • Approved clinician essential.
