We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full time hours for our NHS client’s inpatient team based in Leicester, Leicestershire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality patient care
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments
  • Developing individualised treatment plans
  • Maintaining compliance with all legal obligations as prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice
  • Assessing patients under the MHA and making recommendations under the MHA
  • Acting as Responsible Clinician (RC)

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Full GMC licence to practice
  • Section 12
  • Specialist Register (CCT)
  • Approved Clinician
  • Previous experience in a similar role
