We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Locum General Radiographer to join our team in Portsmouth. This ongoing role offers a competitive pay rate of £29-£33 per hour, with working hours from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting a range of general radiographic procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Operating advanced radiographic equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Mentoring junior staff and maintaining detailed imaging records.
- Ensuring the department runs efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the HCPC.
- Significant experience as a General Radiographer, preferably at Band 7 level.
- Proficiency in using modern radiographic equipment and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
