We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Glasgow, Scotland. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering specialist psychiatric care within CAMHS, including inpatient and community mental health team (CMHT) settings.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments.
- Developing and overseeing treatment plans.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe and effective mental health services for children and adolescents.
- Participating in clinical meetings, documentation, and service development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GMC registration (essential)
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, including CAMHS, inpatient, and CMHT settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
