We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Havant, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Working across CAMHS, CMHT, and inpatient settings, delivering specialist psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
- Conducting assessments, formulating and overseeing treatment plans.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health services.
- Participating in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and maintaining documentation in line with NHS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GMC registration (essential)
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register (CCT)
- Experience in CAMHS, community mental health teams, and inpatient care
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A strong commitment to patient-centred care
