We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full time hours for our NHS client based in Preston, Lancashire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality patient care
- Conducting comprehensive assessments
- Developing individualised treatment plans
- Acting as a Responsible Clinician (RC) for a defined caseload and assessment of patients referred to CMHT either at home or in clinics
- Attendance and leading MDT meetings
- Providing advice to GPs within the catchment area
- All RC duties related to a community mental health team
Qualifications and Experiences:
- You must have a full GMC licence to practice
- Section 12 Approved Clinician
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Must have own transport
