Working Hours: Mondays – Fridays, 09:00-17:00

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 8-week placement

Rate: £28 – £32 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to patient care and work within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing expert advice, and supporting the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and optimizing medication therapy for patients
  • Conducting medication reviews and providing clinical consultations
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Educating patients on medication use
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Contributing to clinical audits
  • Supporting the training and development of pharmacy staff

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in conducting medication reviews and clinical audits
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and electronic health records
