We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join our team in Oxford for a 12-month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential diagnostic imaging services. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of general radiographic procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality image capture, and adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to the efficient functioning of the radiology department, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
- Proven experience in general diagnostic radiography, ideally at Band 6 level.
- Proficiency in operating modern radiographic equipment.
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a busy healthcare setting.
