We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join our team in Cottingham for a two-month assignment. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent patient care and supporting the radiology department’s operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of general radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to established safety standards.
- Prepare patients for examinations, operate radiographic equipment, and produce accurate diagnostic images for clinical evaluation.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to provide essential support to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain a patient-focused approach and ensure a safe and efficient workflow within the radiology department.
What we are looking for in a Radiographer:
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
- Experience in general radiography.
- Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and radiographic equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to patient care and safety.
