Frimley Park Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6/7 Locum Audiologist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within our audiology department, providing high-quality care to adult patients. If you have previous experience in adult audiology and are looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities:
- Managing an adult audiology caseload.
- Conducting comprehensive audiological assessments.
- Providing rehabilitation services, including performing diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and developing individualized treatment plans to address hearing and balance disorders.
- Collaborating closely with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, participating in clinical audits, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our audiology services.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment options.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Audiology and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in adult audiology.
- Strong clinical skills in audiological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
