Pay Rate: £20.00 – £26.00 P/H

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 5/6 General Radiographer to join our team in Lancashire. This temporary position offers a competitive pay rate of £20-£26.00 per hour and involves working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role is available for an immediate start and will run for a duration of 3 months, providing an excellent opportunity for a radiographer to contribute to high-quality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing a range of general radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging to assist in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Operating modern radiographic equipment, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and managing accurate imaging records.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, adhering to established protocols and safety standards, contributing to the overall efficiency of the radiology department.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Experience as a General Radiographer, preferably at Band 5 or 6 level.
  • Proficiency in using advanced radiographic equipment and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work Theatres and main X-ray.
