We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Hull, Yorkshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis, with an immediate start for a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

As a Psychiatrist in the UK, your responsibilities are both broad and specialised. You will be primarily responsible for providing expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for individuals experiencing complex mental health issues. This includes leading and overseeing the development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.

You will be expected to manage and support multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration between various healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses.

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Section 12 approval
  • Approved Clinician status
  • Forensic experience is desirable but not essential
