We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Aldershot, Surrey. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), providing specialist psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating and overseeing treatment plans, and offering clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team.
- Participating in clinical meetings, liaising with families and external agencies, and ensuring documentation is maintained in accordance with NHS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GMC registration (essential)
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register with a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (essential)
- Experience in CAMHS and community-based mental health services
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
