We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours for our NHS client based in Warrington, Lancashire. This is a short-term locum position available immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the General Adult Psychiatry Ward.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal obligations as prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice.
  • Assess patients under the MHA and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Act as Responsible Clinician (RC).
  • Require Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Full GMC licence to practice.
  • Section 12 approval.
  • Approved Clinician (AC) status.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
