We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

  • Working within adult inpatient and acute mental health services, delivering expert psychiatric care and clinical leadership.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating and overseeing treatment plans, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality care.
  • Participating in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and ensuring documentation is maintained in accordance with NHS standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • GMC registration (essential)
  • Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
  • Experience in adult psychiatry, particularly within inpatient and acute settings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
