We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our NHS client based in Warrington, Cheshire. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments.
  • Evaluating adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms.
  • Formulating individualised treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
  • Regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimise care.
  • Contributing to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care.

This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • You must have a full GMC licence to practice.
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position.
  • Section 12/RC approval is essential.
  • Approved clinician status is desired but not essential.
