We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours for our NHS client based in Warrington, Lancashire. This is a short-term locum position available immediately.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the General Adult Psychiatry Ward.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with all legal obligations as prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice.
- Assess patients under the MHA and make recommendations accordingly.
- Act as Responsible Clinician (RC).
- Require Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full GMC licence to practice.
- Section 12 approval.
- Approved Clinician (AC) status.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
