Working Hours: 40 hours per week

We're looking for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a growing Gastroenterology service in South West England. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will be an integral part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional patient care. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of the service, participate in innovative treatments and procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

The post is a 10 PA appointment, with the post-holder expected to:

  • Be responsible and work independently for the continuing care of patients alongside consultant staff.
  • Participate in the Gastroenterology on call rota.
  • Work independently caring for patients with Gastrointestinal complaints, carrying out a mixture of emergency and elective care.

CESR support can be offered to applicants wanting to pursue this pathway to GMC-specialist registration.

Requirements to Apply:

  • Gastroenterology medicine experience post CCT/Consultant level.
