We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Radiotherapist to join our team in Torquay on a temporary basis. This role offers a competitive rate of £30.00 per hour and involves working 40 hours per week. The position is available for an initial duration of 3 months, with an immediate start. Responsibilities:
- Delivering precise and effective radiotherapy treatments to patients, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists and medical physicists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Operating advanced radiotherapy equipment, monitoring patient responses, maintaining detailed records, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the radiotherapy service.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with the HCPC.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Band 7 Radiotherapist role or similar.
- Proficiency in using advanced radiotherapy equipment and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
