We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full time hours for our NHS client based in Blackpool, Lancashire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

We are seeking a Consultant for the General Adult Inpatient Unit at the Harbour, specifically covering the Female Acute Ward, which is an 18-bedded ward. The successful candidate will supervise a middle grade doctor, two Foundation doctors, and a Physician Associate. Key responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role requires Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval, ensuring the consultant can effectively manage and lead the team in delivering exceptional mental health services.
