Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our client based in Prescot. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients with dysphagia and communication disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialist speech and language therapy services within the community, requiring the use of a car for visits.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registration with HCPC.
- Experience managing dysphagia and communication disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car for community visits.
