Job Title: Locum PharmacistBanding: 7 / 8aLocation: BrightonStart: January 2025Duration: Until End March 2025Rate: £28–£37Working hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30We are looking for a skilled and experienced Locum Pharmacist to join our team in Brighton. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential pharmaceutical care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Surgical Assessment Unit, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.Responsibilities:Managing the dispensing of medicationsConducting medication reviewsProviding clinical advice to healthcare professionals and patientsWorking closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomesParticipating in ward roundsContributing to the development and implementation of clinical guidelinesOverseeing the safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticalsEnsuring compliance with regulatory standardsProviding training and support to junior staffQualifications and Experience:Registered Pharmacist with the GPHCRecent acute hospital experience, particularly in a surgical settingStrong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmacotherapyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamExperience in conducting medication reviews and providing clinical adviceKnowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in pharmacyWhy work with Pulse?From the moment you register with us, our focus is entirely on you.
