Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician

Banding: Band 3/4

Location: Doncaster

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: One month, with potential to extend

Rate: £13 – £17 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00-17:30 (with 1 hour lunch break)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role requires NHS hospital experience and involves working closely with our pharmacy team to ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory
  • Provide support to pharmacists in clinical settings
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Educate patients on the proper use of their medications

Qualifications and Experience:

Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant Requirements:

  • Must have NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services
  • Duties: Dispensary duties only

Band 4 Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

  • Must have NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services
  • Duties: Dispensary duties only (MMT or ACT not required)
