An exciting new opportunity has been made available for a Band 8a/b Clinical Psychologist to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team in Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will be expected to provide psychological assessment and intervention in a variety of settings and be involved in the offer of consultation, training and supervision to the wider MDT on the psychological care of adults with a learning disability. There may also be opportunities for service-related research and development. You will receive regular clinical & professional supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and you will also benefit from being a member of the Learning Disability Psychology Specialty as well as the wider Psychological Professions Community within the Trust.
