We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our client’s specialist team in Mitcham, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children and young people with complex needs in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. The role is available on a locum basis with an immediate start and offers competitive rates.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex communication needs.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments.
- Support and guide staff teams, contribute to care planning, and provide training and supervision.
- Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
- Proven experience delivering therapy to children and young people with complex needs.
- Experience supporting teams around a child or young person.
- Confident, engaging, and effective in modelling, guiding, leading, and training.
- Highly organised and proactive.
- Committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
- Experience in team supervision and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Must be a car driver due to travel requirements.
