Role: Locum Invasive Cardiac PhysiologistBanding: Band 7Location: Ashton-under-LyneHours: Full-time/Part-timeStart Date: 19/08/2024Rate: £40 – £50 per dayDuration: 2 weeksAbout the role:The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team in Ashton-under-Lyne. This is a Band 7 position, offering a competitive hourly rate of £40 – £50. The role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, starting from 19th August 2024, for a duration of 2 weeks.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform and assist in invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies.Monitor patients\’ vital signs and cardiac activity during procedures.Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.Qualifications and Experience:Essential: IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.Proven experience as an Invasive Cardiac Physiologist.

Desirable: Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.Experience in invasive cardiac procedures.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
