The Nursing team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated Ward Manager to lead our nursing team in providing high-quality care and support within our specialist mental health rehabilitation service. This role is pivotal in empowering recovery and promoting teamwork among colleagues.

Your main responsibilities as a Ward Manager:

  • You will deliver supervision to staff across the ward to ensure excellent healthcare delivery.
  • You will work alongside the Senior Nurse to manage the on-call service and ward budgets.
  • You will provide leadership and expertise to support a unified service and engaged workforce.
  • You will ensure high standards are maintained and improved within the Clinical Governance framework.
  • You will effectively utilize and supervise all nursing staff.
  • You will serve as an expert on nursing care for service users within the specialism and play a key role in the multidisciplinary team.
  • You will maintain a collaborative environment to help ward members reach their potential and provide high-quality care, staff welfare, and training.
  • You will take charge of the ward as designated.
