Salary: £35,391.30 – £43,741.95 per annum

The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our team in Halton to maximise communication potential for children and young people through direct and indirect assessment and intervention, contributing to the success of the Communicate SLT team.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

You will provide speech and language therapy services to children, directly and through support to their families and the multi-disciplinary team. You will conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for children and young people in consultation with their families, the multi-disciplinary team, and other SLTs and SLTAs. You will provide intervention on an individual or group basis as required. You will develop and demonstrate SLT programmes and groups for pupils. You will keep accurate records and provide written reports. You will set targets for therapy and monitor progress. You will hold responsibility for your own caseload and a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision. You will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the planning, development, and delivery of an effective and efficient service. Skilled at giving and receiving positive and critical feedback to colleagues
