The AHP team at Pulse is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Meath School. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about using their skills and knowledge in a specialist educational setting, working with children from Reception to the end of Key Stage 2.
Role Overview:
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be a crucial part of our multi-disciplinary clinical team, supporting educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. You will provide individualised interventions based on clinical assessment and formulation, ensuring that therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care, and support we offer.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will assess, plan, and deliver individualized intervention programs for a defined caseload. You will work with children individually or in small groups in specialist therapy spaces and within classroom-based sessions. You will maximize child contact time to achieve the best possible outcomes through a holistic approach. You will work as part of a strong and supportive multi-disciplinary team including Teachers, Therapists, Learning Support Assistants, Educational Psychologist, and Residential Care Officers. You will participate in training, CPD opportunities, and outreach programs.
