Job Title:Paediatric Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Paediatric Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist to join our esteemed client in Broxbourne. The service will be community-based, delivered weekdays at both mainstream and special schools in the inner London area (Chelsea, Fulham, Hammersmith, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing assessment and therapy intervention to children and young people with speech and language disorders, and in some cases, dysphagia advanced practice will be required. You will travel between schools during the day, with all appointments booked for you. You will need to use London transport as car driving will not be possible. You could see between 3 – 6 children a day depending on case mix, number of children at the school, travel time, etc. You will maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC registration
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field
- Extensive experience in paediatric speech and language therapy, particularly in dysphagia
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
