We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Specialist Physiotherapist to join the Children and Young People’s Services at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup, Kent. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy care to children and young people. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of rehabilitation services while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and treating children and young people with a variety of physical conditions and developmental needs.
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each individual patient.
  • Evaluating patient progress, providing education and advice to families, and contributing to the overall care and rehabilitation of the young patients.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of physiotherapy services for children with complex conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Relevant experience in pediatric physiotherapy, particularly in treating children and young people with a variety of physical and developmental conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience of creating and implementing individual physiotherapy care plans.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with current physiotherapy practices.
