The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Hemel Hempstead & Harpenden. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, with a competitive daily rate of £320 per day. The role is initially for a duration of 17 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will conduct comprehensive respiratory and sleep studies.
- You will analyze and interpret test results.
- You will provide accurate and timely reports.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- You will educate patients and their families about respiratory and sleep disorders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Experienced in OSA patient management
- Ability to interpret Multichannel sleep study and pulse oximetry automated reports
- CPAP set up and troubleshooting
- CPAP Mask changes
- Compliance data – interpretation
- Patient engagement and long-term management of OSA with CPAP
- Good communication skills
- Presenting to patient groups
- Clinic based work – Hemel Hospital or Harpenden Hospital
- Good documentation
- Good data entry skills into Excel
Desirable:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
